At the age of 85 and after the loss of his wife of 56 years, it was time for Jac McSweeney to achieve a life long ambition to write a book and have it published. So with the support of his daughter, Jac learnt to use a computer and this book became a reality. “One is never too old to learn a new skill or make a dream come true.” Jac McSweeney Tales for Travellers is a collection of 23 short stories ranging from wartime Europe to outback Western Australia. Considering he has moved across the world from England, to South Africa and finally Australia, working in mines, manufacturing and public relations it is not surprising Jac has so many tales to tell.
